Voting

As I drove home from work this afternoon, I saw signs for early voting...in Chinatown.

I decided to try to avoid the crowds and lines, but unfortunately I was unable to avoid the smell of Asian food mixed with unpleasantly strong body odor.
I did vote, though, and I only had to try to inconspicuously hold my nose for 20 minutes.

While in the voting line at the Chinese market, I realized how very diverse our country is and how each one of us gets to have a voice in our government and what a true blessing that is!! This song popped into my head:
Jesus loves the little children
all the children of the world.
Red and yellow, black and white,
they are precious in His sight.
Jesus loves the little children of the world!!
