Kyle and I celebrated our first anniversary. This past year has gone by so fast - we both feel like we got married 2 weeks ago. I think the theme for our first year of marraige is "change."
In one years time, I graduated and got a job, I lost my job and found another one, we bought our first home, Kyle started grad school, we sold my car and decided to take up the challege of living with one car, found a wonderful church home, we went to my best friend, Chelsea's wedding and my brother, Matt's wedding, got our first dog, went to three more weddings (one in Mexico), Kyle finished his first year of school and got a job!! Whew...no wonder its gone so fast, we havent had time to blink! In the midst of all of our change, we have leaned on each other and been the one constant in each others' lives. Everyone was telling us how hard the first year of marraige is and we are still wondering when the hard part is going to start. We are truly blessed!!
Our trip to Mexico was our present to each other, but we decided to go out on actual anniversary, too. We went to the Melting Pot, which is sentimental because thats where we went on our first date. Our cake is still in my parent's freezer, so we didnt get to take up that tradition. Here are some of my favorite pictures from our wedding.
