This weekend my college
roommate, Caroline, and Ryan got married in the quaint town of
Brenham (also known as,
Appel Country.) The whole weekend was a great time spending time with our friends - laughing at old stories and making new memories.
We visited the Bluebell Factory, Friday before the wedding. We were too late for a tour but that
didn't stop us from putting on our bluebell hats and licking the
ice cream cups dry.

After Bluebell was the Rehearsal dinner and after-party at the local
BT Longhorns, where two-stepping and singing along with the band was a given. Even Mr. and Mrs.
Appel couldn't resist the party.
Father of the Bride

On Saturday there was lots of primping and literally "getting ready" for hours. The ceremony was precious and they rode away to the reception in a 1915
Chrystler.
Awwwhhoogaa!! The reception was at a historic mansion with the tables set up in a tent next to the mansion. It was absolutely gorgeous and it was exactly
Caroline's style - classy and beautiful.

Chelsea's, Becca's and my parents were there so it felt like a family reunion. Here's me and my dad. I think you can see the resemblance in our cheeks.

We danced the night away and
oooh and
awwhhed over
Aslyn - Kelly and Lane's precious new baby girl. Kyle got some practice holding her, too.

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Long!
Our fun weekend didn't stop there. so stay tuned for details about our adventures touring the vineyards in the Texas Hill Country.
